I am currently the caregiver for my 92-year-old mother who is a Type 1 brittle Diabetic and needs assistance using her Insulin Pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) which is incredibly stressful and affected my health and wellbeing. In January 2021 I was diagnosed with Central Serous Retinopathy OS in my left eye, and it was resolved without treatment by June 2021. However, this condition is caused by severe stress and by December 2021 my condition was worse than January 2021. The doctor wanted to see me in one month, January 2022. I had just began seeing Kathy. At my January 2022 visit the doctor expected some improvement, but not as much improvement as I had. My follow-up visit was in April 2022 and the improvement was remarkable, the fluid was gone. The stress is still in my life, but the way I feel and manage it has everything to do with what I am learning and practicing with Kathy. As Kathy would say there are no coincidences. I feel very blessed and thankful for Kathy’s CranioSacral Therapy and Life Coaching sessions; however, I am grateful my daughter recommended Kathy to me.
